Martifier Solar Hellas has brought online four PV solar parks with a combined capacity of 4.5MW in the Preveza and Pirgos regions in Greece.
The four plants occupy a total area of 97,000 square metres and have capacities between 777 kWp and 2 MWp.
All the projects have been connected to the grid in the first quarter this year.
The total generated energy is estimated to be 6.65GWh annually, which is equal to the average energy consumption of 5,000 residents, offsetting 5,850 tons of carbon dioxide a year.
Martifer Solar Hellas acts as the EPC provider for turnkey services, including the commissioning of the projects.
The solar facilities are installed on fixed structures with polycrystalline modules utilizing both string and central inverters.
The company will remain managing the O&M Service of all four plants.
The construction period for each solar project lasted less than a month, which was prior to initial deadline per project.
Theodore Gitzos, Martifer Solar Hellas’ general manager said: “I am very satisfied that under adverse weather conditions and strict timeframes, our team was more than capable of completing these four projects, proving yet again the enormous capabilities of our company.”
Martifer Solar Hellas has completed 60 PV systems across the country even though the recent adverse macroeconomic environment in Greece.
