Matthew Stephens, Voltaix’s current chief technology officer, has been appointed as executive vice president of sales and marketing for the company. He will operate in both his CTO and executive VP roles, taking over for Mark Fine, who is leaving the sales and marketing position to take on a senior advisor role in Voltaix. Stephens first familiarized himself with the sales and marketing branch of the company when he served as COO for Voltaix from 2003 to 2009.
Peter Smith, CEO of Voltaix commented, “Leading semiconductor manufacturers are reaching into the supply chain to form close collaborations that accelerate the introduction of new materials into their manufacturing processes, enabling continued performance and cost improvements. To strengthen the voice of the customer in our organization, we are more tightly aligning the customer-facing functions in our organization: Sales/Marketing, Quality and R&D. Matt brings a great combination of practical knowledge and managerial experience in each of these areas.”
