Rob DeLine and Paul Apen have joined the executive team at MiaSole having been appointed as VP of marketing and VP of business development, respectively. Joseph Laia, president and CEO of MiaSole commented on the new VP appointments, stating, “The collective experience and expertise that Rob and Paul bring to the table will be instrumental in our current and future plans to expand our business and more effectively articulate our value proposition to the marketplace.”
Apen brings over 20-years of experience in business/technology development and product management for the global high-tech industry. His previous employment saw him as the chief business development officer for E-Ink Holdings where he managed alliance and partner development and intellectual property strategy. His background also includes leadership positions in global business management, product management and technology development at Honeywell International.
Like Apen, DeLine also holds a 20-year background in his field, which includes brand and product management for the high-tech and energy sector. Previous to beginning at MiaSole, DeLine worked as chief marketing officer for the Energy and Environmental division of Applied Materials. His work at AMAT saw DeLine manage market strategy, business development and outbound communication initiatives for the company’s solar and lighting business. DeLine additionally worked 15 years at Intel in different roles including marketing director for the Asia-Pacific region.
