Zander, the Stuttgart, Germany-based design and build engineering
company, has announced that it received bookings worth over 1GW peak
annual capacity for 2007 in thin-film and wafer-based technologies. The
company’s worldwide order backlog – up from 410MW in 2006 – comprises
600MW worth of combined design and construction projects, 480MW in pure
design projects and 130MW related to services.
“We are glad to underscore with this performance our leading position as partner of the PV-industry,” said Jürgen Wild, Spokesman of the Managing Board of MWZ Beteiligungs GmbH. “For 2008 and 2009 we expect further growth in this important future market.”
