A pair of veteran solar industry executives have joined Clean Power Finance. Nicholas Mack and Kirstin Hoefer have been appointed as senior VP/general counsel/corporate secretary and VP of marketing, respectively, at the integrated services and financing solutions firm.

Mack joins Clean Power Finance from Sungevity, where he was general counsel and corporate secretary. Prior to his tenure at Sungevity, he was the general counsel for Mainstream Energy, the parent of REC Solar and AEE Solar.

Hoefer brings more than 15 years of combined CMO and product management experience to her new role at the company. She helped build the brands of Sungevity and SunRun, and led the rapid growth of online networks eBay and Excite@Home. (Corrected from original version)

Noting that his new company's "residential solar finance delivers unparalleled value to consumers, investors, and installers," Mack said he was "thrilled to help open the market for solar finance and help the industry grow profitably."

"Clean Power Finance is attracting an all-star team of experts to deliver on the mission of building an online marketplace for solar industry professionals and investors," said his colleague Hoefer, who is "excited to promote CPF services to our business customers and help them sell their products and services to consumers."

The company recently announced a partnership with Google, which invested US$75 million investment in Clean Power Finance’s "white label" financing solution for the US residential PV market. The new fund is expected to support up to 3,000 homeowners in financing the installation of PV rooftop systems.
