Bringing over 15 years of executive and technology experience to the role, Dr. Omid Shojaei joins Indeotec as its new chief executive officer. In his new position Shojaei hopes to build upon the company’s PECVD platform for R&D and pilot production for both c-Si and TF-Si.
Before joining Indeotec Shojaei worked for Unaxis FPD (Oerlikon Solar) in various management roles and is credited with the development and deployment of the Kai 1200 PECVD platform for FPD-LCD applications. He has also worked for Edwards Vacuum as GM Solar Business Development and at EnergoSolar as VP of sales and marketing.

“Omid brings to Indeotec a long track record of business achievements with equipment companies from start-ups to some of the largest companies in their market,” said Fabrice Jeanneret, president of the board.
Shojaei gained his PhD in thin films from the Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne in EPFL, Switzerland and an MBA from Rotman School of Management, Toronto in Canada and University of St Gallen in Switzerland.
