SolAmerica and Citizens Energy energise 5.1MW of PV projects in Georgia
EPC and project developer, SolAmerica Energy and non-profit Citizens Energy Corporation have completed four PV projects totalling 5.1MW in various locations in the state of Georgia under the Georgia Power Advanced Solar Initiative.
“We are pleased to bring these important projects on-line as part of the 8.1 MW that SolAmerica developed and constructed in 2014-2015 in the state of Georgia,” said R. Stanley Allen, president of SolAmerica. “Citizens is an outstanding partner, and we certainly hope to work with them in Georgia and elsewhere in the future.”
SolAmerica developed and provided turnkey Engineering, Procurement and Construction services for the projects. Citizens Solar, a division of Citizens Energy Corp., financed and owns the four projects as part of a larger portfolio acquired in the state in 2014-2015.
