Tenesol has achieved ‘Factory Inspection’ (CFQ002) certification from the Institute of Industrial Certification for Mechanics (ICIM) in Italy, allowing the company’s PV modules to automatically receive 10% more return from Italy’s feed-in tariff (FiT). The certification also officially identifies that the company’s modules are ‘Made in EU.’

Recognising Tenesol’s entire manufacturing process, from lacing cells to assembly and testing, the CFQ001 certification was awarded to a wide range of the company’s PV products including positive tolerance, monocrystalline and polycrystalline modules with power outputs ranging from 180 to 310Wp.

“Our total quality approach not only creates better quality products but also better rewards for our customers,” said Benoit Rolland, managing director of Tenesol. “We are delighted to receive this certification and offer even more value to our customers in Italy.”

ICIM inspection took place at Tenesol’s Toulouse-based European manufacturing plant in July this year. The 10% bonus is available to system operators that register installations under the latest Conto Energia in Italy.
