Eosol Energies Nouvelles has chosen Canadian Solar as chief module supplier for its new 10.7MW ground-mounted solar power plant in Saint-Leger, France. The new system will come online in October and be fitted out with 39,500 modules, spanning 180,000m² and totalling 8MW.
This will be the fourth solar installation the two companies have joined forces on – other Eosol-Canadian Solar projects include an 8MW system in Villeneuve de Marsan and the 5.1MW development in La Genetouze. For this latest development, Eosol is also collaborating with engineering, procurement and construction firm TSK and financier Abraxa Investment Fund.
