The Nanjing-based cell and module manufacturer, China Sunergy, has entered into a framework agreement with Kerslef Group’s subsidiary, Ecoware S.p.A., to supply 120MW of PV modules. The contract will run from Q4 2010 until Q3 2011.
This latest move further strengthens the relationship between China Sunergy and Ecoware; solar module manufacturers CEEG Solar Science and Technology and CEEG New Energy, which have supplied Ecoware for the past three years, were acquired by China Sunergy in November.
“We are very pleased to continue our partnership with Ecoware S.p.A., a loyal client of these two acquired module companies in the past and now a client of China Sunergy. The signing of the agreement will strengthen our successful cooperation and increase our share in the Italian PV market. So far this year, China Sunergy has entered into collectively over 600 MW of PV module contracts for year 2011 delivery,” said Stephen Zhifang Cai, CEO of China Sunergy.
