A leading China-based solar module manufacturer has placed an order with PVA TePla for approximately 50 crystal-growing systems for the production of monocrystalline silicon ingots. The systems are expected to be delivered by the end of June 2010. PVA TePla said that it would be entering into a long-term collaboration with the unidentified manufacturer.
PVA TePla recently guided it would achieve revenue of approximately €145 million in 2009. However, the company cited a fall in orders in 2009, which would result in expected decrease in revenue for 2010 to approximately €120 million.
