Taiwan-based PV producer, Motech Industries said it had started shipping PV module orders totalling 22MW to customers in China to meet demand for projects.
Motech said that the orders would be shipped in batches. No financial details were disclosed.
The majority of Taiwanese producers had been impacted by the recent US anti-dumping ruling with monthly revenue levels declining as Chinese customers significantly reduced orders for the US market ahead of the ruling.
Demand for modules in the second half of the year in China are expected to reach record levels to meet government targets of installing 13GW in 2014. Only around 3GW was installed in the first half of the year.
Many China-based tier one suppliers are running at full-capacity to meet demand.
