Reis Robotics has reached a major landmark by shipping and installing its 100th solar module assembly line. This latest sale has consolidated Reis' position as the world’s leading turnkey automation systems supplier, and with several new orders already in the pipeline the German firm is showing now signs of resting on its laurels.
“The customers of Reis Robotics benefit from the modular and standardised production lines to satisfy the further increasing demands for solar modules worldwide,” Reis Robotics’s sales manager, Steffen Guenther, said. “Advantages of standardisation not only mean shorter project runtimes and faster deliveries, but also more efficient production methods and thus finally the best possible price-performance ratio for our customers.”
With headquarters in Obernburg, Germany and eight service subsidiaries in Europe, Asia and the US, Reis has established a worldwide network for commissioning new production lines at customer sites, and its portfolio, ranging in capacity from 10MW to 600MW, helps the PV industry generate 6GW of electricity a year.
