Sungrow Power Supply, China’s largest PV inverter supplier in 2011 has partnered with EPC Aktor SA for the construction of PV power plants expected to exceed 30MWp in Greece.
All 30MWp PV plants are being installed and commissioned by Aktor and Sungrow is to supply 500kW and 630kW of transformerless central inverters.
The inverters have attainted certificates from TÜV and the German Association of Energy and Water due to its high DC voltage, overload capacity, its adaptability to high-low temperature and electromagnetic compatibility.
“Sungrow offers quality and cost efficient products and excellent service. We definitely plan to continue our cooperation with Sungrow worldwide”, Aris Polychronopoulos, Head of Global Operations said.
Raymond Wong, VP of Sungrow said, “We have deployed approximately 650MW in Europe till the end of 2012. Despite the financial crisis, Sungrow is ready to provide cost-effective, large-scale PV solutions for electricity generation.”
Sungrow has not released details of how many plants will be constructed, the completion date for construction and the locations in Greece.
