PV inverter manufacturer Sungrow Power Holdings has received another major order for equipment from Thai utility Superblock PCL.
Sungrow said that it had already started supplying 55.5MW of PV inverters to multiple PV projects in Thailand, under a supply agreement signed with Super Block.
The deal was said to include 60 central inverters, 604 PV combiner boxes and 60 data monitoring loggers. Shipment started in the middle of September, with projects said to be completed and operational by the end of 2015.
Sungrow had already secured a 75MW deal with SuperBlock in June, taking Sungrows shipments to Thailand to 130.5MW in 2015, according to the company.
In June, Superblock said it planned 500MW of PV project completions in 2015, which had already included signed deals for 396MW of projects to be completed this year.
The utility had noted plans to double capacity to 1GW in 2016 and up to 2GW over the next three years.
