Technology tools and systems provider, Oxford Instruments has appointed Gu Ran as director for Oxford Instruments China.
Joining on the 22 July, Gu Ran will be based in Oxford Instrument’s Shanghai factory, managing regional offices in Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, and Chengdu.
Gu Ran’s main role will be to develop and implement growth strategies for China, in industrial and research markets.
David Scott, director of emerging markets said: “China continues to be a very important market for Oxford Instruments. Gu Ran’s experience of business development and leadership across a range of international technology companies will help us improve on the success we have achieved so far”.
Originating from Oxford University, Oxford Instruments has been operating in China since 1999, and has more than 150 employees.
