Positive Energy has won a contract to design, build and operate EDF EN Greece’s 1.1MW PV park in central Greece. The project is located in Fokida and is the latest in an ever-growing list of Greek developments that Positive Energy has provided EPC services for.
“We are especially pleased to include in our portfolio one more important project,” Positive Energy’s CEO, Konstantinos Mavros, said. “We highly value our relationship with EDF EN Greece, which puts to practice through its dynamic investment initiatives the corporation’s faith and trust in Greece’s prospects for growth; through the proper exploitation of the country’s inexhaustible natural resources. We aim to become the partner of choice for multinational companies and investors acting in the Greek and Southeastern [Europe] renewable energy markets.”
In March, Positive Energy finished work on one of its largest projects to date, the 2MW system in the prefecture of Lakonia, and, with a portfolio standing at more than 40MW and several more MW-scale developments either under construction or in the pipeline, the Athens-based is rapidly becoming one of southern Europe’s most prominent EPC contractors.
