US-based utility and energy services provider PowerSecure has added US$25 million in new business.
The company has been awarded around US$10 million of new distributed generation and US$15 million of new utility infrastructure business.
Among these additions include US$10 million for a grid hardening project for an investor-owned utility, US$8 million of new PV projects for a utility customer and a national solar developer, US$5 million for new transmission projects, US$1 million in new data center awards and US$1 million in new turnkey DG projects.
Sidney Hinton, chief executive office of PowerSecure, said: “In the past two months we have successfully converted $65 million of opportunities from our project pipeline into new business awards across all three of our business segments. In addition to our project pipeline, which remains strong, we are pleased to see robust UI and solar activity, and to be expanding our data center customer base thanks to the excellent work of our mission critical team.”
