Fidelis Energy has signed a long-term deal with ASD Lusiona Solar (ALS) to design and develop a 100MW solar park in Spain. An unnamed Spanish developer will assist Fidelis with the construction of the plant which, when completed, is expected to generate up to US$350 million in revenue.
“This ALS agreement is another important milestone for Fidelis. The fact that ALS has agreed to move forward affirms the potential our proprietary technology holds for the renewable energy and solar industry,” said Fildelis president James Poole.
The decision to build the 1,500-acre plant has been approved by the board of directors of both Fidelis and ALS, and formalizes the letter of intent the firms announced on November 15, 2010.
