Scheuten Solar has finished work on three turnkey PV systems for Italian furniture manufacturer Natuzzi SpA. The rooftop facilities in Santeramo in Colle, Matera and Laterza consist of approximately 14,000 panels, took two-and-a-half months to complete and will reduce Natuzzi’s annual CO2 emissions by 3400 tonnes.
“Our commitment to sustainable development is a responsibility, but also an opportunity. It expresses a forward-looking investment which is fundamental to every company’s continuity. I’m pleased with the cooperation between Scheuten and Natuzzi. Thanks to their flexibility we were able to have the systems up and running within two-and-a-half months from the moment we signed the contract to fulfillment,” said Pasquale Natuzzi, chairman and CEO of Natuzzi.
“I’m very proud to have realised a project of this scale with an established company like Natuzzi. Working together with this well-renowned partner is a boost for further activities in Italy”, added Ad Verbaas, director of project realisation at Scheuten.
