Project developer Sinosol is in the process of planning a 20MW solar power plant, which is to be constructed in the Krim region of Ukraine for a renowned local investor. Supply contracts with SMA and Jinko Solar were closed earlier in the year. Since then more than 10MW of solar components already shipped to the country.
“We are excited about the entry into this new and attractive PV market. This is a further milestone in the internationalization of Sinosol-Group. In fiscal year 2011, the majority of our turnover will be earned outside of Germany,” said Raphael Krause, responsible for the PV project business on behalf of the executive board of Sinosol.
Together with the unnamed Ukrainian investor, Sinosol is planning additional projects in the region. The 20MW plant is expected to be connected to the grid by the end of next year.
