Conergy has completed the installation of its second PV system for BIG Shopping Centre in Beit Shemesh, Israel. The system, which generates a total capacity of 630kW, is built on the rooftop of the shopping centre which covers an area of 18,000 square metres.
This PV project made use of more than 2,600 Conergy PowerPlus modules and was developed in partnership with Unirom. The energy produced will be fed into the grid using Conergy IPG 300K inverters.
BIG Shopping has plans to roll-out more solar plants on its shopping malls in Israel.
