Status: Completed

Size: 1MW

The manufacturer of Campbell's Soup has installed a 1MW PV project at its Pepperidge Farm bakery in Bloomfield, Connecticut.

The project, developed through a partnership with BNB Renewable Energy Holdings and module manufacturer SunPower, is now operational and produces 15% of the bakery’s annual energy demand.

Over 2,700 SunPower solar panels were installed on two hectares of land in a ground-mounted, fixed-tilt array. Campbell's hopes that the project — which stands as the second largest solar installation to be installed by the company — will generate over 1.7MM kWh of electricity.
