Chile-based renewable energy firm Solventus Group is planning to develop a 78MW solar park, according to an application submitted to the Chilean environmental services.

The park, which will be located near Combarbala, would be comprised of 279,160 panels and would need a total investment of US$150 million. The site — which is expected to begin construction in February 2016 —  would have a lifespan of around 30 years.
