Nextronex Energy Systems can hardly be upset with its first year of business during which it accomplished US$850,000 in sales. Due to its impressive opening year and the various potential contracts it holds for the upcoming months, the company is predicting sales for 2011 to reach US$4 million.
“Without question, we are thrilled with our year-one results,” said Nextronex CEO Bruce Larsen. “At the same time, we are extremely confident in the quality of our inverters and the value they provide customers.” Larsen went on to advise that the company is looking for a new facility that will better accommodate the anticipated volume and employment growth.
Over its first year, Nextronex saw its inverters installed at the Ohio National Guard’s 1MW solar field in Swanton, a solar array in Pilkington North America’s R&D facility, a solar panel project at the Toledo Museum of Art and a 1MW solar installation in Thailand.
