Renewable Energy Corporation (REC) advised that its group management sector and wafer and silicon division have seen the addition of new members as it takes its final decentralization steps for its move from Oslo to Singapore and Munich.
Alessandro Perrotta, the executive VP of wafers, cells and modules, will be a member of group management, based in Singapore. He has worked for Motorola and the Amphenol Corporation, serving in both their Asia and US units as corporate vice president and group general manger in the mobile consumer product division.
Perrotta holds masters degrees in electrical engineering and business administration and will officially join REC on February 1, while taking over formal responsibility from John Andersen on March 1. Andersen will continue with REC as EVP and group COO, while also serving as a member of REC group management.
Additionally, upon Kristine Ryssdal’s decision to depart REC, Florian Krumbacher has been selected as SVP, chief legal officer and as a member of group management. Krumbacher was group general counsel at ADVA AG Optical Networking before he began with REC in May 2010. He holds legal degrees from the University of Munich and the London School of Economics. Krumbacher will assume his roles on March 1.
