China-based manufacturer ReneSola has supplied PV modules for construction company, Isolux Corsan’s 31.7MW UK project.
The commercial project in Suffolk, UK was grid connected in December 2013 with 9.7MW of RenSola’s Virtus modules and 22MW of its Virtus II modules.
Xianshou Li, ReneSola's chief executive, said ReneSola intends to continue expanding business in the UK and worldwide, as the 31.7MW shipment boosts ReneSola’s market share in the region. “We will continue to enhance our products and customer relationships to supply additional large-scale products in the UK and worldwide,” Li said.
Antonio Gonzalez Torralbo, Isolux Corsan's chief executive of EPC activity, said: “We chose ReneSola modules because of their compliance with relevant anti-dumping measures, strong reputation for quality and comprehensive PowerGuard insurance.”
The Suffolk solar park is the fourth park in the UK built by Isolux Corsan adding to 340MW installed across Europe.
