S.A.G. Solarstrom, Freiburg, Germany has fully achieved its revenue and earnings targets for the first six months of 2009 with an EBIT of €390 thousand and revenues of €31,603 thousand; this news comes despite considerable investment costs for the planned broad expansion of its business activities in the second half-year.
“Since all projects for the full year are under way as planned, we are very confident of achieving the high revenue and earnings contributions from this business segment planned for 2009,” said Dr. Karl Kuhlmann, CEO of S.A.G. Solarstrom.
As explained at the outset of this year, S.A.G. Solarstrom, after a first half-year development going according to plan, expects a second half-year with dynamic revenue and earnings growth. “The development of the first half-year and the good financial situation lead to the expectation of a good full year. We will thus be able to achieve our forecast of sales volumes of €125 million to €140 million and an EBIT range of €5 million to €8 million,” Kuhlmann concludes.
