The San Bernardino International Airport’s 632kW, US$2.8 million solar project has reached completion. The parking structure installation was developed by Premier Solar and uses Phono Solar’s 240W Mono series in its 2,688 panels. During its first month of operation, the system generated 52,000kWh of solar energy and allows the public access to monitor live energy production data for a more interactive solar experience.
“The completion of this project at the San Bernardino International Airport marks our commitment to constructing quality commercial projects in key regions of the country,” said Chris Kamykowski, president of Phono Solar. “We are honored to be selected for our high performance modules and Phono Solar will continue to add additional commercial installations on U.S. soil as the year progresses.”
