In an effort to achieve a business scale of €800 million in its European solar and energy solutions business by March 2016, Sanyo Electric will be expanding its European market business solutions for the energy and solar sector throughout this year. The company will provide PV modules, lithium-ion battery systems, and energy management systems that include controllers and complete maintenance service.
This fiscal year will see the company develop its energy solutions business to Europe through a reduction in running costs and CO2 emissions for factories, schools and stores through its Smart Energy System (SES). SES combines the company’s technology for PV systems, energy storage in the form of rechargeable batteries and commercial equipment.
The system will control clean energy produced by PV modules and stored into rechargeable batteries for the supply of equipment such as air conditioning and lighting with energy. SAS will be installed in small-, medium- and large-scale applications.
