Scheuten Solar has signed a multiyear deal to provide Multisol solar modules to French PV systems installer Aehlios. The contract, said to be worth “several tens of millions of Euros,” covers the supply of nearly 10 MWp of panels.
“Aehlios has been successful in creating over 120 jobs in the Languedoc-Roussillon area in one year,” said Evert Vlaswinkel, chief commercial officer of the German solar company. “Its serious, controlled development plan built around an experienced team is one in which Scheuten Solar is happy to participate. Furthermore, the ambitions of Aehlios are in line with our own ambitions over the years to come.”
“The end consumer takes a long-term decision and Aehlios undertakes to provide installations meeting his expectations,” added Luc Chancelier, CEO of Aehlios. “The signing of this supply contract with Scheuten Solar is a quality and performance-based undertaking with which we are entirely happy. We are proud to associate the name of Aehlios with the Scheuten Solar image of dedication and quality.”
Scheuten Solar, which will manufacture the units at its Gelsenkirchen factory, joins SolarWorld, Sharp, Sanyo, Solara, and Photowatt as module suppliers to Aehlios.
