Mounting system manufacturer Schletter has announced 100MW supply agreement with installer with North Carolina-based Strata Solar.
In line with Schletter’s plans to expand its manufacturing plant in Shelby, North Carolina, Schletter intends to be involved with several of Strata’s proposed installations. The companies have been contacted to provide details of the proposed sites.
Strata saw in the New Year with a 5MW installation capable of powering 600 homes in North Carolina. Last week, Strata announced a joint venture with Canadian Solar to construct 15 PV projects equal to approximately 85MW in North Carolina.

Their new facility in North Carolina is going to provide hundreds of local jobs in a county that has been hard hit by the recession.
