Following on from the unprecedented number of trade visitors at Intersolar 2008 in Messe Munich, SEMI and Intersolar are preparing themselves for a busy show at Intersolar North America in the Moscone Center, San Francisco from July 15-17.
Intersolar’s Munich show saw over 50,000 trade visitors – an increase of more than 62% on last year’s figures. The visitors came from 140 nations to view the booths and services on offer by over 1,050 exhibitors at the Messe Munich, and the plans for the North America show will see Intersolar and SEMI team up to bring the show to North America in a co-location agreement with SEMICON West 2008.
“Never before has Intersolar had more exhibitors, more visitors and more different nations represented,” said Markus Elsaesser, CEO of Solar Promotion GmbH, one of the two organizers of Intersolar. “At the new Munich venue, Intersolar has reached a new dimension. Both exhibitors and attendees are thrilled that we are expanding this legacy to our inaugural North American show.”
