Singulus Technologies has released its preliminary results for the first nine months of the business year, which show the company generating sales of nearly €121.8 million, greater than the €120.1 million in total sales that the company produced throughout 2010. EBIT for the first nine months of 2011 totalled €6.3 million, compared to the €13.1 million in the first nine months of 2010.
Singulus noted that its EBITDA totalled approximately €14.7 million with its solar business unit showing positive earnings on EBITDA and order intake improving by 40.8% to €137 million, compared to 2010’s €97.3 million. The preliminary results have the executive board confirming its sales forecast for 2011 of over €160 million with a positive full-year result.
The company plans to continue with the development of its solar and optical disc activities so that it can strengthen its position as an innovative company. It additionally plans to review ways to better the capital structure of the company and find additional means of financing, including the issuance of a bond.
