Preliminary figures for 2010 highlight that equipment supplier Singulus Technologies achieved revenue of €118.5 million, slightly ahead of revenue reported for 2009 at €116.6 million. Singulus sold Hamatech APE in January 2010. However, orders received were 56% higher than the previous year at €127.2 million. The volume of orders in hand at December 31, 2010 stood at €35.9 million, slightly ahead of its 2009 figure.
In its solar segment, the company noted that negotiations on numerous potential orders were nearing completion for both its crystalline and thin-film equipment.
Singulus said that its key aim this year was to grow sales in the solar industry and reach break-even in 2011. SINGULUS will be publishing the full report on the 2010 financial year on March 31.
