Sinosol has completed the grid connection of its 2.7MWp solar power plant in Engstingen-Haid, Germany. The company developed and constructed the power plant utilizing 12,400 Yingli solar modules and SMA central inverters.
Construction for the solar project, which holds an estimated value of €7 million, began this past August. Work is coming to its completion and Raphael Krause, responsible for the project business on behalf of the board of Sinosol, stated, “The project is successful proof for an ecologically expedient use of a brown field area. We hope that PV component prices in 2011 will allow further realization of PV power plants on brown fields in Germany for ourinstitutional investors.“
