Announced in October, Solar Millennium no longer believes negotiations for its US project pipeline with solarhybrid will be concluded before the end of the year. The companies had hoped to reach an agreement by the end of November.
Although Solar Millennium and solarhybrid have reached a general understanding in terms of the substance and have signed significant agreements, certain conditions for the effectiveness of the agreements have not yet been met. solarhybrid AG has pointed out to Solar Millennium, among other factors, that it needs more time for internal coordination and negotiation in the US.
The pipeline acquisition would make solarhybrid a major PV-based project developer in the US, having already made its mark in Europe with the completion of the continent’s largest PV plant based in Germany.
