Tribridge, the U.S-based IT services and business consulting firm, has entered into a contract with SpectraWatt to provide software and services to deploy an ERP system for the start-up company’s new production facility and administrative offices in Fishkill, N.Y.
In the latter part of 2009, SpectraWatt prepared a set of evaluation criteria and conducted a search and evaluation process in order to select the appropriate ERP vendor.
Tribridge was chosen to implement a Microsoft Dynamics AX solution with capabilities in financials, order management, supply chain planning, procurement, production, inventory management, warehousing management and human resources management. The company will deploy the implementation in two phases over the next six months.
“SpectraWatt’s focus is to implement efficient, cost-effective systems that advance our business capabilities quickly and seamlessly, and we are confident Tribridge’s ERP systems will help us maintain those standards,” said Eric Johnson, SpectraWatt’s VP of Ffinance. “We feel comfortable knowing that accountability for our success on this project reaches the senior executive level at Tribridge which demonstrates a strong commitment to our business.”
“It’s inherent to our guiding principles to partner with entrepreneurial businesses. They make up the backbone of American innovation,” says Tribridge Chairman and CEO Tony DiBenedetto. “We hope to play a small role in developing and supporting SpectraWatt’s processes so they can focus on their pioneering work in photovoltaic production.”
