Sputnik Engineering is set to unveil its new MaxConnect plus p generator connection box at a PV trade show in Lyon, France. The UTE C15-712-certified connection box performs the role of uniting all the separate central inverter module strings and is available for installation throughout France immediately.
“The new UTE standard prescribes that components in DC PV systems must comply with protection class two,” said Michel Ryser, product management engineer at Sputnik. “We meet this requirement with our new connection box.”
The Lyon show, which runs from February 15 to 18, will also see Sputnik showcase its range of SolarMax TS and SolarMax S series central inverters, as well as the SolarMax S series one and SolarMax MT series three string inverters.
“Photovoltaics has experienced a real boom in France over the last few years. The solar radiation conditions and excellent network of solar installers provide the best prerequisites for the future of this market,” said Didier Jeannelle, general manager of Sputnik Engineering in France.
