SolarReserve announced that it had selected Stephen Mullennix as its new senior vice president of operations. Bringing 16 years of experience in the renewable energy and infrastructure industries to his position at SolarReserve, Mulleninx will oversee SolarReserve’s asset management, operations and corporate development. He most recently served as managing director at US Renewables Group, SolarReserve’s founding investment group.
“Stephen has been a critical member of our investment group and we are thrilled to have him now join our leadership team,” said Kevin Smith, CEO of SolarReserve. “His presence further strengthens our executive bench and will be a major contribution to our continued development of utility-scale solar projects globally.”
Mullennix has been engaged with SolarReserve functions since the company began in 2007 by working on its board and with the management team. Before working with US Renewables Group, Mullennix was an associate vice president at Aecom and was previously a co-founder of a wastewater company that commercialized biotechnology solutions for wastewater management.
