The past few months have been relatively good to Sunvalley Solar. In August, the company landed a US$2 million contract for a solar project in Long Beach while just in the past few weeks the company has been awarded several contracts for solar projects in Southern California. Recently, Sunvalley advised that it had been granted two new solar installation contracts, in Anaheim and City of Industry, respectively.
The company will be developing a 200kW commercial solar installation for the Harmoni Group in City of Industry, California while concurrently installing a 366.6kW solar project with Best Cheer Stone in Anaheim. Both projects, which will begin construction in early 2012, will use PV panels from Tianwei New Energy and solar invertors from Advanced Energy Industries. Additionally, they will both benefit from solar incentive rebates from the local utility company and Federal Tax Cash Grants from the Federal Treasury Department.
“We are very excited to see the continuously increasing demand for commercial solar energy in the greater Los Angeles area. The increasing demand for Sunvalley Solar in the commercial solar system installation market has lead us to develop new and innovative ways to meet and service that demand in a timely and cost-effective manner. We firmly believe that 2012 will offer even more opportunity for market growth – as of today we have already signed over US$6 million of commercial solar installation contracts for implementation in 2012. In addition, we have several large contracts, which we expect will be finalized in the near future. Our forecasted revenue from solar installations for the year 2012 will definitely surpass our success of 2011,” said James Zhang, CEO of Sunvalley Solar.
The 366.6kW project in Anaheim holds a contacted value of US$1.8 million. Sunvalley Solar anticipates that upon its completion, it will generate 544,478kWh of electricity per year
