SunWize Technologies has increased the size of its solar distribution facilities in New York and California. The company constructed a new warehouse and added on to its current facilities so that it now has 200,000 square feet between its California and New York sites. SunWize advised that the expansion would allow it to better provide same-day shipping of its products to North American customers.
SunWize supplemented its Kingston, New York facility with the construction of a new 63,800 square foot warehouse in Middletown, New York and more than doubled the warehouse at its Rancho Cucamonga, California site to 137,242 square feet. The company’s facilities are used to not only ship its solar products to customers, but to complete the pre-installation assembly of its turnkey government and commercial solar projects while also producing its engineered off-grid solar systems.
“SunWize is pleased to announce the expansion of our warehouse operation to create the largest US solar electric distribution operation,” said Jim Stevenson, senior vice president of operations at SunWize. “Recent growth created the need for additional space, and the new facilities allow us to continue providing the highest levels of service while optimizing our entire operation, allowing SunWize and our customers to succeed in an increasingly cost-sensitive environment.”
