Zhongli Talesun advised that it had signed a cooperation agreement with the government of Qinghai, China, the country’s largest province, for the development of solar farms in the region. The deal has a six year term, committing Talesun to develop solar projects in Qinghai at an annual volume of 150MW, for a total of 900MW.
The completion of the six projects will require the annual approval of the Development and Reform Commission of Qinghai. Talesun notes that the individual project stages will be subject to ongoing modifications to the local FiTs. “This agreement represents another important milestone for the company. It allows us, not only to expand our production, but also to increase our international competitiveness,” commented Baixing Wang, chairman and founder of Talesun.
