Argentina's new measures aim to spur the growth of individual solar projects. The country's vision is to achieve 8% of its energy to come from renewables by 2016.
According to Bloomberg, Argentina is planning new clean-energy projects of 3,000MW with 10% to come from solar.

Argentina has established feed-in tariffs for solar power, and has planned several large-scale photovoltaic projects as a result of a dramatic increase in energy consumption of up to 30% annually in region of South America.
The Argentinian solar FiT was realised through a national fund for renewable energy promotion. However, the cost of energy is not uniform throughout the country, making it perhaps a little difficult to invest in.
