Tenesol is not a stranger to ISO 9001 certification. The company first received the certification in 2003, but the renewal of the ISO 9001 certification in 2010, which includes certification for design, manufacturing and distribution, has been extended to now also cover the installation and operation of PV power plants. This marks Tenesol as the first French company to achieve this level of ISO 9001 certification.
“To have every aspect of our turnkey operations ratified by the industry’s leading global certification body is fantastic,” says Benoit Rolland, managing director of Tenesol. “Throughout its 27 year history, Tenesol has been wholly committed to total quality and customer satisfaction. Renewing the company’s certification in 2010 acknowledges our efforts to increase competitiveness and improve customer service. And now, gaining this new standard for the operation of PV systems recognizes our wide ranging experience and global expertise.”
Tenesol’s headquarters, logistic warehouse and advanced production facilities, located in Toulouse, France and Cape Town, South Africa, have all been included in the ISO 9001 certification endorsement. This is the latest ISO certification the company has achieved following its 2009 ISO 14001 certification and the OHSAS 18001 certification for its two manufacturing plants.
