Tigo Energy has announced the opening of its first international office in Kfar Saba, outside Tel Aviv, which will focus on engineering activities. The company has also appointed Mordechay Modi Avrutsky to serve as Vice President of Engineering and General Manger of the site.
Avrutsky was formerly with Enercon as the General Manager of engineering. He started the company as a development engineer and later worked in the design, production and certification of power systems for military and industrial applications. Mr. Avrutsky received his Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering from Ben Gurion University in Israel.
In referring to the opening of Tigo Energy’s office in Kfar Saba, CEO Sam Arditi said, “Given Israel’s reputation in engineering and the refinement of sophisticated technology, setting up an engineering operation in Kfar Saba was most logical.”
