The first project under Renewable Ventures’ Solar Fund V, a US$200 million fund designed to finance and develop around 35MW of solar projects over the next year, has selected Trina Solar’s c-Si modules for a 2MW Colorado State University campus project that is under construction.
“Trina Solar is pleased to partner with Renewable Ventures and AMEC to build clean, green renewable projects across the United States and Europe,” said Arturo Herrero, VP of sales and marketing at Trina Solar. “We believe Colorado State University’s large solar installation and commitment to green campus efforts will further encourage solar adoption at other universities throughout the United States.”
The new project is being developed under a 20-year power purchase agreement with Renewable Ventures.
