Solar Limited, a manufacturer of ingots, wafers, cells and PV modules, has completed a 4.7MW facility developed by ErgyCapital. The modules were supplied to ErgyCapital by Trina Solar and are to be installed on the rooftop of the facility.
The rooftop installation took place in Serravalle Scrivia in Piedmont, Italy. It marks Italy’s largest PV facility at 38,000 sq. meters of solar panels. It is expected to reduce up to 2,500 tons of carbon dioxide emissions while powering 5GW per hour of electricity annually.
Trina Solar’s Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Arturo Herrero said, “We are excited to partner with ErgyCapital on the completion of the largest single rooftop installation project in Italy. This roof-mounted PV system is an excellent example of the many projects that we look forward to working on with ErgyCapital in the future.”
