The US Department of Energy (DOE) and ManTech International have come together for the first time after the DOE gave ManTech a prime contract for scientific, engineering and technical support assistance (SETA) services geared for the DOE’s SunShot Initiative. The contract is valued at US$4 million and schedule to last for 17-months.
Terry Ryan, president and chief operating officer of ManTech’s Systems Engineering and Advanced Technology group, said, “ManTech has extensive experience providing traditional SETA support services to our current customers. We look forward to supporting DOE, a new customer for ManTech, and their advancement of cost-competitive solar energy technologies. Most of all, we are honored to be a part of an effort that promises to help the nation develop renewable energy and export that technology to the rest of the world.”
