Victor Lee, current managing director and founder of Tertius Financial Group, has been selected as the newest member of Ascent Solar Technologies’ board of directors. Holding over 17 years of experience in corporate banking, real estate finance, investment management and corporate advisory services at worldwide financial institutions, Lee will be a Class 3 director for Ascent Solar and stand for election at the company’s 2014 stockholder meeting. Lee was named to the board as the designee of TFG Radiant Investment Group following the stockholder’s agreement between Ascent Solar and TFG Group this past August.
Lee first began working in the finance industry with Citibank and eventually made his way to vice president of international personal banking for the institution. In 1999, he was named managing director and Singapore market head in the private wealth management division at Deutsche Bank and between 2007 and 2009 worked with Morgan Stanley’s private wealth management division. He joins the Ascent board after most recently serving as executive director and head of Singapore/Malaysia market with Morgan Stanley.
“We are pleased to welcome Victor to our Board and look forward to benefitting from his expertise and insights, as well as continued support from TFG Radiant,” stated Ron Eller, Ascent Solar president and chief executive officer.
Lee received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin and a master’s in wealth management from the Singapore Management University.
